Chess set - C-8

This solid oak and walnut board is complimented by a lovely small St. George pattern set made from ebony and boxwood. Circa early 1900’s. Expertly turned and carved. The pieces come with their original box and have had some replacements and obtained a few knick’s over the years.

Notable replacements - 1 x white knight, 1 x white pawn and 3 x black pawns.

The board measures 30 x 30 x 2.5 cm, with the base felted in burgundy. Logo branded on to the left oak squares on each side. Framed in walnut and finished with natural oils and waxes. Made in October 2022.

This is a lovely small set, making it ideal to travel with.
