Chess set - C-7

This solid oak and walnut board is complimented by a stunning St. George set made from ebony and boxwood. Circa early 1900’s, the boxwood pieces have a rich patina and the ebony has the iconic subtle gradation of darkness to deep brown. Expertly turned and carved. The pieces come with their original box.

The board measures 40 x 40 x 2.5 cm, with the base felted in burgundy. Logo branded in to the right oak squares on each side. Framed in walnut and finished with natural oils and waxes. Made in October 2022.

All sets are complete with certificate and Oakes & Oakes branded bag.
