This oak and walnut board is complimented by a rare St. George style chess set circa 1920-50’s.
The playfield is slightly raised, board measuring 37.5 x 37.5 x 2.5 cm. Framed in oak. Logo branded on to the left walnut squares on each side. Made in 2023.
The vintage pieces are made from beautiful Rosewood (darker) and Box wood and come in their original box. The pieces have been hand turned and appears that one of the boxwood castles has been replaced. There has also been a historic repair carried out on the rosewood king.
All sets are complete with certificate and Oakes & Oakes branded bag.
